KCI Airport Economy Parking Bridge Undergoes Rehab Work

Travelers Using Lot Should Add 5 ? 10 minutes

Contractors continue to rehabilitate roadways at Kansas City International Airport. Much of the work is complete throughout the airport, and work has progressed to the Economy Parking Lot. Work is ongoing on the flyover bridge leading in and out of the lot that is exclusive to the lot?s Blue Buses.

On Tuesday, October 25, contractors will mill and overlay the bridge?s lanes leading out of the Economy Parking Lot. The bridge work is slated to be completed by November 4. The Blue Buses will use an alternate route, which may add 5 to 10 minutes to the bus ride to the terminals. Travelers using Economy Parking should allow extra time for the ride to the terminals. Kansas City Aviation Department officials suggest that travelers arrive at the airport 60 ? 90 minutes prior to departure time for parking, check-in and security.
